My Words 2.51: Dictionary Tools and Halloween
My Words 2.51 is here for iOS, Android, and macOS. This update improves dictionary lookups, grammar help in books, and a few practice settings—and it arrives in Halloween season with a festive word set.
📖 Clearer Dictionary Results
When a search finds a plural noun or a conjugated verb, you can open the Singular or Infinitive form from the result itself. No need to search again for the citation form.
📚 Grammar Explanations in Books
In an EPUB, select a passage and tap Explain to see how the grammar works. It uses the same explanation sheet as texts. Premium only.
✏️ Ignore Punctuation in Exercises
In Settings, turn on Ignore punctuation if you want typed answers to count even when you leave out commas, periods, or other marks. Handy when you care more about the words than the punctuation.
🧠 Smart Mix Level per Language Pair
In Settings, open Current pair to view or change your Smart Mix level for that language pair. New Smart Mix batches use the level you pick; words and categories you already have stay as they are.
🖊️ Edit Dictionary Translations
Long-press a dictionary translation and choose Edit to save a custom version with extra detail—examples, transcription, and more—so your list matches how you study.
🎃 Halloween Vocabulary
We’ve added a Halloween category with 48 words about traditions, costumes, and the holiday mood.

It’s available for English, Spanish, German, French, Russian, Italian, and Dutch—only until the beginning of November.
For short how-tos on the main features, see the Help Center.
